Staying somewhere with sweeping views of the sunset this year probably kept us focused that direction more often. But the skies above Oaxaca during January and February generally are pretty picture-perfect.

I really enjoyed these. There are times when and places where we get glimpses of the sublime. Skies have sometimes stopped me in my tracks and I have never apologized to anyone for being so tuned into atmospheric aesthetics. If we just keep our eyes open the world is full of wonderful things.
