Postcard from Bordeaux, France: Street art sampler

Above, detail of mural by Mister Kern

After so many words about museums in the most recent post, decided to let street art encountered on our ramblings speak for itself because that’s what it’s supposed to do.

Did try to identify some of the artists though. Landroid (Landry Munoz), David Selor and Monsieur Poulet appear to be living in Bordeaux; Scan-R lives in Pessac, France; and Deih lives in Valencia, Spain.

Walls in Bordeaux indicate 2021 has been a very busy year for native son, Charles Foussard. From Urbaneez:

Charles Foussard portrays with equal energy and will worlds where it is best not to have one’s feet on earth.

And an interview on All Public Art left the birthplace of Mister Kern a bit difficult to determine:

APA: What is the root/birth/foundation of your creativity… how did you get started?

Mr. Kern: A moussaka from outer space told me to do so!
