On every top 10 list for Budapest is “take a river cruise.” We failed to do so after watching cruise ships disgorge hordes of other tourists to swarm the river’s banks.
But that is not to say we did not crisscross the Danube numerous times between Buda and Pest or walk along the sidewalks on both sides.
And the views, particularly of the Chain Bridge and Parliament, are stunning. So here are the postcards everyone sends home from Budapest….
