Postcard from Mexico City: Sky-blue-scrapers blend with clear blue skies

Skyscrapers soaring upward in Mexico City offer a radically different cityscape than the country’s colonial towns we are accustomed to visiting.

But perhaps the unexpected pleasure offered by these blue towers is their lack of contrast with the sky itself. Amazingly, Mexico City appears to have conquered the problematic air pollution that hung heavily over the home of 21-million or so people in decades past.
